Is Shooting the Bali Bombers Cruel?

The latest drama in the ongoing saga of the Bali bombers, currently on death row, is their legal challenge to the method of their execution by shooting. Treated with reverence by fawning and sympathetic guards, they are asking for their execution by the more Islamic method of beheading on the ground that shooting is “cruel and inhumane because they may not die immediately.”
Of course no such humanitarian concerns surfaced when it came to bombing hundreds of people causing many slow and painful deaths and lifelong disfigurations.
The hateful Islamic doctrine they have been brainwashed with teaches precisely the type of sadistic torture and cruel inhumanity which apparently now offends their delicate sensitivities. Such barbarity however is supposed to be reserved only for sinful non-believers in Allah.
What does the Qur’an have to say on the topic?
Quran 8:8 (Surah Al-Anfal; Spoils of War, Booty) tells believing Muslims how to deal with the disbelievers who oppose the message of the prophet:
When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.
Or in Quran 5:33:
The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger, and strive with might and main for mischief through the land is: execution, or crucifixion, or the cutting off of hands and feet from opposite sides, or exile from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and a heavy punishment is theirs in the Hereafter;
Of course these are just a few of the sadistic methods the holy men that spread Islam used as persuasive and punitive techniques.
The great “holy” Ali, the son-in-law of Muhammad and the fourth rightly guided Caliph of Islam, found a Muslim called Mustawrid al-Ijili who had converted to Christianity and taken to wearing cross around his neck. Leaving Islam for another religion, a grievous sin in Islam, Ali quizzed him twice on his having become a Christian and twice the man replied that he had. Ali then exclaimed ‘Allah hu Akbar’ to which Mustawrid replied ‘The Messiah (al-Masih) is greatest.’ Then Ali held him by the fold of his dress and threw him down on his face, and said, ‘O servants of God, trample upon [him]’, and the people trampled upon him until he died.[1]
Heretics were burnt to death by fire by him.[2]
None of the above show too much concern about gentle and painless deaths, an apparent humanitarian concern of the Bali bombers.
But the follower of Allah can never exceed in cruelty their Lord and Master whom they have submitted their whole lives and even their consciences to. Could anyone be more sadistic and inhumane than Allah, the ‘Merciful and Compassionate’ Islamic God who lets it be known how he will deal with unbelievers for the simple sin of disbelieving in Him:
Qur’an 022.019:
These twain (the believers and the disbelievers) are two opponents who contend concerning their Lord. But as for those who disbelieve, garments of fire will be cut out for them; boiling fluid will be poured down on their heads,
However being the greatest of all sadists even that won’t be enough for Allah:
Qur’an 004.056
Lo! Those who disbelieve Our revelations, We shall expose them to the Fire. As often as their skins are consumed We shall exchange them for fresh skins that they may taste the torment. Lo! Allah is ever Mighty, Wise.
Bearing the above in mind, we can see that death by shooting is relatively mild and these smiling bombers should take their fate like men and stop their legal maneuvering and games.

Until such time as I may meet any God in person, I am not in a position to believe via faith, blind faith, is a very dangerous thing, hence I need conclusive proof of any God. If I were to accept that there is a God, I must also accept there is a Devil. Hence if I were to meet a being capable of miracles (as is the Devil) how would I know I am shaking the hand of God rather than the hand of the Devil? I am a realist, I believe in reality based upon fact, not the other way round, as one persons reality may be very different from anothers. I have no conclusive proof of any Gods exsistance, no religous person has ever been able to conclusively provide proof of any God! Rather it has been stressed that blind faith is the main ingreident of religion. It has been put to me that the Koran is indeed proof of Allahs existance, rubbish, it is only a book, "book", containing only text, no hard core proof. All in all, as an educated person, I have no choice but to believe in reality based upon fact. Example,(fact 1+1)= (2 reality)!!!

I think beheading is an excellent way to deal with these people. We know that a severed head does not lose consciousness right away: victims of beheading have been observed to respond to their name being called as much as twenty minutes after execution. A little different to their expectation of being transported straight to heaven, I'm sure you will all agree.

I happened to be in Bali last night while they were shot to death. Life went on as normal although film crews were around filming near the bomb sites which I happened to be at around the time they were shot. Balinese people seemed approving of the shootings taking place although the news showed big thronging rallies for their funeral in Jawa. I drove past the jail a few days ago and thought of them inside along with other inmates. The traffic was jammed due to roadworks on other roads and in the 10 minutes or so it took to pass the prison I was anticipating hearing gun shots at any time as their execution was imminent. The shame is that they were only gullible fools and their ideological masters roam free and even are making inroads into Islamizing Indonesia.

They couldn't see the atom 5000 years ago - so they didn't beleive in its existance. But did their disbelief affect the atom's existance?
