Peace is the Enemy of Hamas
01 June, 2007
Israel has recently joined with Egypt and the Palestinian Authority to put an end to the terror tactics and bloodshed perpetrated by Hamas. It may seem like a coalition of unlikely allies, but there is an old military tactic that unites the worst of enemies by finding a common cause. In other words, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.”
Hamas was recently bought to Mecca in the first round of Palestinian on Palestinian fighting, and swore before Allah smack in the middle of Islam holiest place that they would not kill other Muslims. It did not take long before they broke that oath, as Palestinians have done since their creation in the middle of the 20th century.
And I believe that this act of breaking an oath to Allah is the catalyst that created this alliance of Jews and Arabs. The G-11, and its goals of peace that have been highly pushed by King Abdullah II of Jordan are now beginning to see the real barrier to peace in the region.
Not that they have been ignorant of it all along, as it was Jordan who tossed these people in Gaza because King Hussein did not desire to deal with them. Syria also never wanted them, even though they jumped on the “Poor Palestinian” bandwagon with the rest of the Muslim world.
A people created by the Arab League in their quest for Jewish extermination, the Palestinians have been nothing more than roaming bands of Arabs with no language or real history of their own throughout history. Somehow on June 4, 1967 these roaming tribes from Jordan and throughout the region suddenly became “Palestinians” and since then have been on a jihad to take what was never theirs. Even if one were to trace the roots back to the Canaanite's and Philistines, they had an area in the Gaza Strip but never reached Jericho, Hebron or Jerusalem in their history.
Arafat was Egyptian, yet called himself Palestinian. Walid Shoebat who was a PLO terrorist finally saw the light and publicly acknowledged that the Palestinian people and cause were nothing but a farce, wondering himself how he went from Jordanian to Palestinian overnight. Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader said to the British Peel Commission in 1937 "There is no such country as Palestine. 'Palestine' is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. 'Palestine' is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it".
A Representative of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations in 1956 said “It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria". And the list goes on that this has been a farce from early on about an area called Palestine and any such thing as a Palestinian people and distinct culture. The most deluded being the people of Gaza themselves, led by bloodthirsty groups with no iota of concern for human life in any form.
But groups such as the PLO, Fatah, and Hamas have been killing for decades over this area and make outrageous claims that the land belongs to them. And they have been strongly supported by Iran, Iraq, and the many Arab Muslim nations surrounding Israel since their creation. They had nothing when the League of Nations. And now they continue the violence and terror, not just against Israel anymore but among their own people.
They continue to fire missiles into Israeli towns knowing full well the retaliation that will come in the form of arrests and air strikes. In fact, they have used that concept to intentionally place children and women in area they know will be targeted in an attempt to use the media to pressure Israel into restraint. The sad part is that the Liberal media buys it hook line and sinker.
Hamas claims to fight for the people, but remains the largest reason for their oppression and poverty. Even the PLO has begun to climb aboard the Peace Train because they understand that they can begin to build a state and receive money that is tied up due to terrorist acts. Hamas cares less. They broke their promise to Allah in the witness of several Muslim leaders and nations.
The still refuse to accept Israel as a national entity, though Israel has been acknowledged throughout history as the owners of that land. Roman, Babylonian, Syrian, Persian, Egyptian, and Arab historical documentation all show this to be true. But try to find Palestine or Palestinians in the same texts and you will come up empty. Yet they teach their children to hate Israel and teach them that there was never a Temple on the mount they almost destroyed. They send their children into death by proclaiming them martyrs and celebrate the slaughter of innocents with posters and dancing.
And now their time is coming to an abrupt stop I believe. When Muslim nations ally themselves with Israel in order to rid themselves of the terror plague, something has changed. Hamas is now stuck with no way out. They cannot run to Israel. Egypt will never let them in, Jordan has shut them out, and Lebanon is dealing with Palestinian terrorists and will not let them through to Syria. Not that Syria has any real concern for them either, but they still use the “cause” for political saber rattling. Hamas knows they are stuck. No funding, arms suppliers drying up, no place to hide in women’ clothing as Arafat did so many years back. And they have made their statement that they will all die as martyrs or defeat Israel. Their concern for their own people is overwhelming is it not? Let them starve, let them suffer extreme poverty, let them get strafed because they were set up like fish in a barrel. Who cares if they all die as martyrs and end up with their virgins and serve their god of death? They surely do not. And the peace plan put in place by the Arab League and peddled by Jordan will be the end of Hamas and those like them.
They will never allow peace, because peace takes away their cause. It takes away any purpose for jihad and martyrdom. It takes away the false image they have of being holy warriors and defenders of the faith. The lied to Allah, they lied to the world, and they lied to their own people. They know that peace will be their demise and they despise peace. And I fear Hamas will have to be completely rooted out before peace can ever exist, as well as any militant cause the people of Gaza create. Israel now has the backing of most of the world as to their intention of doing this.
The PA asked them to come board, and the G-11 may spout some rhetoric for the Arab street, but they make no real move to stop them from rooting out Hamas. The Muslim world has turned its head from them and they will either step in line with the peace process or be eliminated for fighting against it. Either way the choice is theirs, but in time the liars will rise again if they are not taken out of the picture.
If they lie to Allah, they will lie to anyone. But in the meantime Gaza burns.
