Out-of-Concept

Scene - 1
(Place
- Mecca, Time - Beginning of Islam)
Lights,
Camera, Action--
Quraish chief: Oh son of Abdullah, why are you insulting
our gods?
Mohammad: Allah is my friend, Oh idol worshippers! I obey none
but Allah.
Quraish chief: We will give you whichever
woman you want and we will give you dozens of she-camels that you may
use as you wish, if only you will no longer speak ill of our gods. And
we even have another proposal for you.
Mohammad: Oh infidels, what is this other option, if I
may ask?
Quraish chief: If you worship our gods for a year, we will
worship your god for the same amount of time.
Mohammad: Hold on, Kafirs! Let me check with my lord before
I decide rashly!
Quraish chief: Oh Mohammad! Feel free to
chat with your fantasy friend but we offered the best that you may ever
know!
Mohammad: Eureka! Eureka! My lord has just spoken to me, and he
commanded: "Unto you your religion, and unto me my religion."
(Q 109.006)
While
watching the filming of the great prophet Mohammad's life, I well up with
emotion and must dry the tears from my eyes. What a benevolent statement!
What a generous person he was! Our beloved prophet understood the importance
of the freedom to practice one's own religion. Allah was so merciful and
compassionate at the early age of Islam! The followers of Islam used to
pray facing Jerusalem and the tribe of Quraish had the Kaba, a perfect
example of religious tolerance.
Scene - 2
(Place
- Mecca, Time - Before migrating to Medina)
Lights,
Camera, Action, --.
1st companion: Boss, we have a problem.
Mohammad: Now what?
1st companion: People are talking about Allah's flip-flops.
Some of his revelations are contradicting previous revelations.
Mohammad: Oh I forgot to tell you, Allah's secretary Gabriel
just visited me. Allah is aware of this situation and has sent a memorandum
in this regard. He commented, "When we substitute one revelation
for another, - and Allah knows best what He reveals (in stages), - they
say, "Thou art but a forger": but most of them understand not."
(Q 16.101)
So,
Allah cannot see the future. He changes his mind as the prophet gets into
different situations. Hmm... interesting. But now I' m losing faith in
this Mohammad guy and his friend Allah. How can I trust a god who doesn't
know what he's doing? Allah is claiming that he knows best but at the
same time he is replacing his own word with new ones just because the
situations have changed.
Scene - 3
(Place
- Medina, Time - after migrating from Mecca to Medina)
Lights-Camera-Action-..
Mohammad: I am having a bad hair day. I am frustrated and angry.
1st companion: Oh prophet, have we done anything wrong?
Mohammad: I am not angry with you fellows, I'm teed off
by those stubborn, pesky, confounding Jews.
2nd companion: Allow me to go out, kill a Jew and deliver
you his beautiful wife.
Mohammad: Idiot, did I ask for another woman? I have plenty
of those. I'm upset because we've been praying towards the temple of Jerusalem
and it was expected that those accursed Jews would accept our religion.
Looks like this strategy is not working, they refuse to convert.
1st companion: We can always change our direction to
the Kaaba of Mecca, after all that's where we used to live.
2nd companion: But won't the people call us fools if
we move Allah from one house to another?
Mohammad: Bingo! That's a good idea! Wait, Wait! I hear
a phone ringing in my head, maybe it's a revelation. Yes, indeed it is
a revelation. Allah just commanded, "The fools among the people will
say: "What hath turned them from the Qibla to which they were used?" Say:
To Allah belong both east and West: He guideth whom He will to a Way that
is straight." (Q 002.142)
I'm
confused. Why made Allah change his home from Jerusalem to Mecca, a move
that would only open the door to a confrontation with the Quraish? Moudidi,
a famous scholar of Islam clearly explained,
"In this portion,
the declaration of the change of qiblah from the Temple (Jerusalem)
to the Ka`abah (Makkah) was made as a symbol of the change of leadership
from the children of Israel to the Muslim Community,-"
What's
wrong with this prophet guy? I'm downright disgusted with his deceptive
modus operandi. Allah never claimed that he had a vacation home in Mecca.
After gaining a foothold in Medina, Mohammad decided to pray towards Mecca,
knowing that the house of Kaba was still full of idols. So, did the Muslims
(along with Mohammad) worship many idols until he conquered Mecca?
Scene - 4
(Place
- Medina, Time - End of Medina stage, preparing to re-capture Mecca)
Lights,
Camera, Action-..
Ali: Oh father-in-law, command me before I leave for Mecca.
Mohammad: I am proud of you Ali. I love you so much, I
gave you my daughter as well as many slave women to enjoy. You are the
sword of Islam.
Ali: Oh Prophet, you are my hero. I believe Abu Bakr has
already reached Mecca. Is there any message that I must relay to him?
Mohammad: Yes, I have received some new revelations regarding
the Mushriks, the idol worshippers.
Ali: Sing along, Oh Prophet sing along.
Mohammad: "And an announcement from Allah and His Messenger,
to the people (assembled) on the day of the Great Pilgrimage,- that Allah
and His Messenger dissolve (treaty) obligations with the Pagans. If then,
ye repent, it were best for you; but if ye turn away, know ye that ye
cannot frustrate Allah. And proclaim a grievous penalty to those who reject
Faith. (Q 009.003)
Ali: I am impressed, I will be happy to fulfill Allah's command.
Mohammad: Allah also told me, "Then, when the sacred
months have passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take
them (captive), and besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush.-"
(Q 009.005)
Is
this the same guy who chanted, "Unto you your religion, and unto me my
religion?" Now the prophet and Allah have decided to punish those who
would refuse to wave the Islamic flag. Apparently, the theory of religious
tolerance was replaced with blackmail and aggression - the true colors
of Islam being practiced today.
Though
a few personal considerations have been slapped in, the four scenarios
shown above are based on historical events as recounted by the Quran and
Ahadith. Those chronologically correct reenactments clearly show how power
and greed transformed a prophet into a beast. Towards the end of his career,
Mohammad stopped walking and talking like a prophet and became the perfect
role model for all future pirates and dictators. He didn't stoop to bad
faith, duplicity and violence, he raised such iniquities to the level
of religious virtue.
Verses
9.3 and 9.5, mentioned in the last scene, impart direct orders to treat
non-Muslims harshly. In point of fact, all the verses of this surah AL-TAWBA
are full of senseless hostility and cruelty. Muslims often downplay
these verses claiming that they were intended for wartime and therefore
should not apply to daily life. Interestingly, there was no war at that
time. In fact, those verses were plucked out of thin air right after the
treaty of Hudaibiyah, which, as soon as Mohammad became strong enough,
was conveniently voided by Allah.
Moududi
proudly explains, "The first discourse (1-37), was revealed in Zil-Qa'adah
A. H. 9 or thereabout. As the importance of the subject of the discourse
required its declaration on the occasion of Hajj the Holy Prophet
dispatched Hadrat Ali to follow Hadrat Abu Bakr, who had already left
for Makkah as leader of the Pilgrims to the Ka'abah. He instructed Hadrat
Ali to deliver the discourse before the representatives of the different
clans of Arabia so as to inform them of the new policy towards the
mushriks."
Aha!
A new policy towards the non-believers! Aren't our holier-than-thou Jihadi
butt-kicking brothers following the latest rule of Mohammad?
Logically,
a decision taken at a later time overrules the previous one and the verdicts
of a high court take precedence over the lower courts. Someone can be
a very honest person all his life, but if he commits a crime at the end
of his life, he will be judged in accordance to his present deed. Likewise,
the final commandants of the Quran surpass previous verses. There are
no ands, ifs or buts... that's the plain fact of the matter and that's
how devoted Muslims' minds work.
Muslim
apologists often bring an 'out-of-context' excuse from their magical bag
of lies, but they don't realize that they simply are out-of-concept! Nowhere
in the Quran is it mentioned that the stinky verses are stalled in the
7th century and that they should not be applicable for future
times. On the contrary, the Quran clearly says, "This is the Book; in
it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah" (Q
2.02)
Sure
enough, we have many lunatics in this world who have received clear guidance
from the Quran and they will continue seeking guidance unless the book
is chucked into a black hole of an unknown galaxy.
