A 19 year old Muslim girl, Katya Koren, was stoned to death under ‘Sharia law’ after taking part in a beauty contest in Ukraine. They found her dead in a village near her home in the Crimea region-Ukraine.

Her friends said she was a fashionable girl, and participated in a beauty contest. Her body was buried in a wooded forest, and found a week after her death.
Police opened an investigation into her murder. The claims are about three Muslim youths who killed her believing they were justified under Islam.
One of them is a 16-year-old Bihal Gaziev. He is under arrest. He had told the police that she violated Sahria laws. This young man had no regrets about her death because she did not abide by Islamic law.
