Muslims have turned Lebanon, once a Christian-majority nation, into an Islamic state by murdering, converting and driving away the Christians through persecution and terror. In Egypt today, incidents of oppression, torture and murder of Christians, demolishing their businesses and churches, and kidnapping and raping Christian women have become a regular feature. Christians of Nigeria have become the most horrible victims of Islamic jihad in recent years. This should give a clear idea about how the Hindus, Christians, Buddhists and other non-Muslim groups would be treated in Islamic countries like Bangladesh and Pakistan. Presently, the oppression of the Hindus in Pakistan, abduction of minor girls and forcibly converting them to Islam, raping them or forcibly marrying to Muslim thugs, have become commonplace, attracting the global attention.
Prophet Muhammad, through his treatment of the non-Muslim communities of Arabia, particularly Jews of Medina, has left an example of how his followers should treat non-Muslim populations of a Muslim majority state. He had attacked the Beni Kanuika and Beni Nadir Jewish clans, and exiled them and captured their wealth and firm-lands. He attacked and slaughtered the men-folk of Beni Koraiza, nearly 800 of them, and captured and divided the young women and children among themselves, and sold the older women and children in the slave-market in Nejd. The young genre of captive women were kept as sex-slaves and raped. He also masterminded secret assassinations of his Arab critics, particularly poets. Furthermore, he declared complete extermination of the polytheists (like Hindus, see verse 9:5) so as to terrorize them to convert to Islam. He also enticed the poorer Arabs to Islam with the greed of booty obtained from his plundering raids and wars. This savagery is deemed as the doctrine of jihad in Islam. As Muhammad was the role-model for Muslim for eternity, it is expected that his disciples would deal with non-Muslim kafirs in like manner in Islamic states.

Religious Discrimination against Hindus
A bulletin, entitled the “World Directory of Minorities and Indigenous Peoples - Pakistan: Hindus”, says:
“One of the country's principal and primary constitutional documents, the Objective Resolution of March 1949 makes provision for non-Muslims to freely profess and practice their religion, and this tolerant spirit is reflected in the provisions of the 1956, 1962 and the 1973 constitutions. However, despite the presence of these constitutional guarantees, the Hindu community both prior to and even after 1971 has been a continual target of suspicion and has often been treated as a fifth column. Political expediency has allowed Hindus to be treated as scapegoats for the general incompetence of governments in power.”
Hindus today constitute a small fraction, about 1.2%, amounting to 1.96 million, of total Pakistani population. Many apprehend that by 2015, this ratio will drop down to almost 1%, as very many existing Hindus will have to accept Islam to avoid persecution or death or leave Pakistan altogether.
The small Hindu population in Pakistan is not uniformly distributed across the country. Nearly 96% of them live in the Sindh state. Even in Sindh, Hindus are most densely populated in the rural areas of Sanghar and Tharpakar districts, bordering India. There are also small pockets of Hindus in interior Baluchistan and Punjab. Many of the Hindus living in the interior of Sindh or Baluchistan belong principally to the so-called untouchable class, and most of them are landless bonded labourers, working on the firm-lands of big Sindhi Muslim landlords (known as Jagirdars). Those, who live in towns and cities, also have a menial standing and are generally employed as sweepers or Jamadars.
The bulletin further says,
“Sindh at one time had a sizeable Hindu population; however, at the time of partition, a large number of them migrated to the Indian side of the border. The partition of India in August 1947 resulted in genocidal campaigns against religious minorities, with the Hindus in Pakistan suffering worst. In addition to the genocide, several million Hindus were forced to become refugees. Those, who decided to stay behind in Pakistan after partition, had to face constitutional limitations and social stigma.”
The Marathas, who fought against Ahmadshah Abdali in 1761 and couldn't return, are now languishing in Pakistan doing menial jobs. Most of them are sweepers. Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul has the descendants of those Marathas working as toilet-cleaners.
In June 2000, Time magazine carried an article written by Craig Gaverns. The author said that he interviewed a few Hindu-Marathas (most of those Marathas are now forced Muslims) working as cleaners and attendants at PMA at Kakul. One of them told him that once a Pakistani captain continuously slapped him and made him eat human excreta for not polishing his shoes properly. In his report, the author did not disclose his name. But somehow, they were able to locate the man and after a few days he was cut to pieces.
It should be mentioned here that the primary constitutional document of Pakistan, the “Objective Resolution of March 1949” provides provision for non-Muslims to freely profess and practice their religion, and this tolerant spirit has also been maintained in the provisions of the 1956, 1962 and the 1973 amendments of the constitution. But the unfortunate part of the episode is that, despite the presence of these constitutional guarantees, the Hindu community both prior to and even after 1971 has been a continual target of hatred, suspicion and as a fifth column and more pointedly have been treated as anti-state and anti-Islamic elements, discriminated against and persecuted, arguably becoming victims of genocide during the secessionist war of 1971. Hindus even lack equal access to education, employment and social advancement.
In December 2011, there were reports that Hindus in Baluchistan region are being abducted and converted to Islam. The family members of the abducted often avoid lodging police complaints for fear of dire consequences. Many Hindus in Pakistan's Baluchistan, Sindh and NWFP regions embraced Islam for survival. But Muslims living in India would fail to mention even a single incident where Muslims in India ever been forced to accept Hinduism in order to live in this country?
Ratan Chitkara was a doctor at a hospital in Pakistan's Chitral province. He was the best candidate for the post Chief Medical & Health Officer, but denied promotion to the post. To overcome the religious discrimination, he at last embraced Islam and became Saeed Khan. But still he was not promoted to the post. To explain the reason, one of his Muslim friends said that he willy-nilly accepted Islam ('Dil se nahin liya', i.e. not accepted from the core of his heart). The question remains: Did the ancestors of the Pakistani Muslims converted to Islam from the core of their hearts. History tells that, they were mostly converted under coercion and torture, a large number of them through enslavement and other to save their lives.
To highlight this historical reality of the conversion to Islam in India, BBC London's spokesman Roger Amlett said,
"Why do all the 'converted Muslims' of the sub-continent behave in a manner as if their Allah directly dropped them as Muslims from an imaginary heaven? Why do they (or their forefathers) forget that they were cajoled, coaxed and coerced into embracing Islam?"
More importantly, they are continuing to be Muslims under coercion, as Islam calls for death of the apostates of Islam.
In India, as many as four Muslims, namely Zakir Hussain, Muhammad Hidyatullah, Fakruddin Ali Ahmed and A P J Abdul Kalam, were elected to the highest civilian post, the President of India. But it is beyond one’s wild imagination that a Hindu will ever be elected the President of Pakistan. There are many Muslims in India included into the top brass of the defense forces. For example, Idris Hasan Latif was raised to the post of Air Chief Marshal of Indian Air Force. But there is not a single Hindu holding such a top position in Pakistan armed forces. One should also note that the second Chief Justice Bhagwan Das, a Sindhi-Hindu from Shikarpur, Sindh, has not been made the CJP (Chief Justice of Pakistan), as a result of religious discrimination.******
Not to speak of high posts of President, or top military or administrative posts, even prospective Hindu cricket players are not included into the Pakistan national cricket team. Only Danish Kaneria, thanks to his outstanding talent, was able to play Test cricket in Pakistan. Yousuf Youhana, a Christian player of outstanding caliber, had to convert to Islam (now Mohammad Yousuf) to become the short-lived captain of the team.
Veerbhadra Seksaria, the only Hindu industrialist from Pakistan, has never been permitted to set up a cement factory in Pakistan's lone industrial city, Faisalabad. There are many staunch secularists in Indian media, such as Teesta Seetalvad (married a Muslim), Arundhati Roy (a Syrian Christian) and Mallika Sarabhai (a Gujrati Hindu), start shedding tears if any 'wrong' (or twisted wrong) happens to the Muslims in India. But these secularists remain silent spectators when Hindus are oppressed either in Pakistan or Bangladesh.
In the Indian state of West Bengal, the present Trinamool Congress Government, led by Kumari Mamata Banerji, has made Urdu the second language in schools and colleges, where Muslim population is 10% or more. But in Pakistan, Karachi and Islamabad universities have abolished their Hindi departments, and even certificate courses in Hindi because it's the language of the Kafirs or infidels.
Oppression of Hindus in Pakistan
On Sunday, March 25 this year (2012), Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) organized a conference of Hindus in a Karachi hotel to discuss the recent surge of oppression of the Hindus and to condemn the atrocity committed on a 19-year-old Hindu girl named Rinkle Kumari. According to reports appeared in the media, Rinkle Kumari, a Sindhi Hindu girl, was kidnapped and forcibly converted to Islam before coercively marrying her to a Muslim thug named Naveed Shah. The gathering of 400 Hindu leaders, the largest Hindu gathering in recent history, was organized o condemn the ongoing kidnapping, forced conversions to Islam, and forced marriage of Hindu girls to Muslim men in Pakistan, and particularly the incident of Rinkle Kumari.
“[A] mass migration of Hindus [from Pakistan] is inevitable,” declared a resolution adopted at the said conference. Kalpana Devi, a leader of PHC and the vice president of the Larkana Bar Association, told the conference, “The lava of oppression was burning for years; Rinkle Kumari’s case was the tipping point for us, and it brought the whole Hindu community together”.
She added: “We don’t have any issues with a person, who converts to another faith out of free will. But when someone is kidnapped and converted, it is difficult to keep quiet. It is really horrifying that a girl of 18 or 19 has been kidnapped, converted to Islam by force and married to a Muslim man without her consent.”

Nearly a year ago, in January 2011, the Minority Community leaders at a conference in Hyderabad, Pakistan, protested the alarming development of religious discrimination against Hindus. Even a few Muslim leaders came forward to condemn the atrocities being committed against Hindus. Pakistani lawmaker Marvi Memon, 43, who belongs to the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), has criticized what she calls a total failure of the government to protect the Hindus from religious discrimination. Ms. Memon, commenting on the present developments, said: "The tragedy is that as a result of these kidnappings, many Hindu families have migrated to India. After all, it is better to live in another country than in perpetual fear in Pakistan. It has become routine for Hindus to be humiliated at the hands of the influential Muslim community in Pakistan."
She also recalled the incident wherein several members of the Hindu community were attacked and forced out of their homes in Sindh after a Hindu boy named Dinesh unknowingly drank water from a facility meant for Muslims. "He was beaten up badly," said Meerumal, Dinesh's father, who witnessed the attack, while talking to reporters.
As a matter of fact, the present rise in religious discrimination and oppression against the minority Hindus in Sindh, which attracted international attention including condemnation of some US congressmen, have raised hot debates in Pakistan. The developments have become extremely deplorable when it is alleged that the Sindh chief minister's relatives are involved in such crimes, particularly in the case of Rinkle Kumari.
"It is very unfortunate that the Sindh chief minister's relatives are committing crimes against the minority community with impunity at a time when President General Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz were trying to promote a soft image of Pakistan. We want to discuss this matter in house to expose the government's double standards," said a report appeared in Daily Times.
The inaction of the government is now being criticized even by the Pakistani Muslim politicians. Recently, Pakistan People's Party Parliamentarians (PPPP) have submitted an adjournment motion, and asked for a debate on the matter. The PPPP also stated in its motion that it was a serious matter and needed to be discussed in the National Assembly.
Liberal Politician and human rights activist, Sherry Rehman, currently Pakistan Ambassador to the US, said: “Pakistan did not have a good track record as far as human rights records are concerned and the present incidents of oppression of Hindus by the relatives of the Sindh Chief Minister, Arbab Ghulam Rahim in Khait Lari, Tharparker would only further tarnish Pakistan's image.”
She also said that Pakistan Human Rights Commission's fact-finding mission to probe into press reports that Hindus were being oppressed had revealed that a sizable Hindu community was being oppressed in Khait Lari, hometown of the Sindh chief minister.
The ‘Rinkle Kumari’ Story

Rinkle was kidnapped on February 24, 2012 by Naveed Shah and four accomplices and was forcibly converted to Islam and quickly married to Naveed Shah before the case came to court. Police initially refused to take in the case, and also to include the names of the influential Mian Aslam, Mian Rafique and their father Mian Mithu. When she was produced in the court of Civil Judge Ghotki, she insisted on going to her family, but the judge, on account of her conversion to Islam, refused to hand her over to Hindu parents. Instead, she was sent to police custody in Sukkur Women's Police Station.
"It has been decades that Hindu girls have been abducted and forcibly converted. We hear little or no voice at all against this oppression," said Amar Lal, counsel to Rinkle Kumari's family.
One should not be surprised by such actions of Muslims and the Pakistan Judiciary. From Muhammad, Muslim learnt three basic Islamic qualities – treachery, lechery and butchery. Raping kafir women is an essential part of Islamic jihad, as it is sanctioned by the Quran and was practiced by Prophet Muhammad. And Muslims, even today, utilize every opportunity to please Allah and their prophet even in Western countries. Recently, the raping of white women in Europe by Muslim immigrants has reached an epidemic proportion.
When the foreign Muslim invaders attacked India ages ago, they used to capture the Hindu women as spoils (mal-e-ganimat) in every war they won, whom they used as sex-slaves. The Hindu women, particularly of Royal and noble descent were their favorite. In 711 AD, when Muhammad bin Qasim succeeded in occupying the fort of the Hindu King Dahir, the women of the Royal family decided to take poison to escape humiliation by the lecherous Muslim invaders. At that moment, a minister of Dahir’s court came running and said: “O mothers and sisters, Muslims are so lecherous that they even rape a dead woman.” (As a testimony of the above fact, Egyptians and Tunisian clerics recently advocated sex with dead spouses). So, the women of the Royal family decided to jump into fire I order to destroy their bodies completely, lest their dead-bodies would be raped by Muslims. Following this tradition, called Jauhar, tens of thousands of Hindu women destroyed themselves in similar manner over subsequent periods of Muslim domination in India.
Back to Rinkle Kumari case, her case went up to the Supreme. According to a report appeared in Hindustan Times, a three-judge bench led by Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry has ordered police officers to escort Rinkle Kumari and, another alleged kidnap victim, Lata Kumai, to the Panah women’s shelter in Karachi. The court wants the young women to be free of pressure, so that they can decide their own futures.
Whenever such incidents happen, the generally thuggish Muslims threaten the girls of dire severe consequences – both to them and their dear ones – if they would speak the truth, i.e. they were converted and married by force. They terrorize those girls to say that they have converted to Islam and married the Muslim men out of their own free will. A Wikipedia article on the Supreme Court of Pakistan says:
“Rinkle Kumari is a 19 year Pakistani girl and a student, who was allegedly forced to converted from Hinduism to Islam and marry Muslim Naveed Shah. Her case was appealed all the way up to the Supreme Court of Pakistan and generated widespread news interest & talk shows. In the ,In these various TV interviews that can still be viewed on youtube she has repeatedly and clearly said that the alleged kidnapping and forced conversion was a lie and that she adopted Islam from free will and got married out of free will.”
A similar report written by Anita Joshua, appeared in the Chennai based daily The Hindu says, “The three young Hindu women who were allegedly kidnapped, forcibly converted to Islam and married off to Muslim men chose to live with their husbands instead of their families after the Supreme Court of Pakistan on Wednesday allowed them to choose their future.”
One may find many such reports on the incident in the print media.
But the sister of Asif Ali Zardari showed guts to tell the truth in Pakistani Parliament. Acknowledging that Hindus face a lot of challenges in Sindh, she said in Pakistan's parliament, on Thursday 12 April, that Hindu girls are being forcibly kept in madrassas in the province of Sindh and are forced to marry Muslims.
As a result of above mentioned religious discrimination, persecution and insecurity of the women led the Hindus of Pakistan, particularly of Sindh province to leave Pakistan, coming to India and seek refugee status.
